These pictures were taken on 7/3/13 at Karla, near Lonavala.
After Gurcharan ji identified one of Nidhan ji's Euphorbia posts as Euphorbia caducifolia, I am posting these pictures for validation.
Kindly confirm if these pictures are of Euphorbia caducifolia.

Yes,
Agreed with E.caducifolia, if with numerous branches arising at base and wild species...otherwise, the similar species is, E. nivulia, mostly along agriculture field.

This is also most probably Euphorbia neriifolia L.
Leaves are needed to confirm whether it is E. caducifolia Haines or E. neriifolia.
