the close ups are out of focus, Darshan
and washed out

are your lens and hand too close to each other if you are using fixed lens small digital camera

or

 if you are using a high end dslr try getting /fine-tuning the pinpoint focusing correct

there are many utubes for all the most popular dslrs on how to do any and many things , explained very clearly..

i am talking from experience.... frustrating problems solved by utube videos  for my camera in a jiffy...
