I took this flower picture in Mukali, near Attappadi, Kerala
Date/Time-May 15, 2010 ----7.17 a.m.
Location- Place, Altitude, GPS------ Mukali
Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type-------------Wild
Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb-----Shrub
Height/Length- -----1 around 0.5 me
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size -------as seen in the picture
Inflorescence Type/ Size-
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- ---- as seen in the picture

This would be C. viscosum looking at large leaves and large calyx.

Yes, Clerodendrum viscosum surely. My mistake - was confused because
of the missing pink in the flowers.

Clerodendrum viscosum indeed very common in Bengal we call it "Ghentu" in Bengali

Yes this is Clerodendron viscosum....
I sent a pic of this plant few days back.
Tanay idntified it.
Its called Ghentu phool in Bengali.
(Phool is the Bengali term for flower).
Theres the mention of this plant in many Bengali literatures, as its a
common plant of rural Bengal.
