Observation: 09/02/2023. Riung District, Flores, Indonesia.
Description: It is a small tree that can reach a height of 3m. Presence of stipula at the leaf axils, black thorns. Also present on the branches and the trunk. Simple leaf, alternate phyllotaxis. Drupe type pink colored fruit. Small leaf axils yellow flower.
Habitus: Common in all dry tropical forest with sea influenced climate. Often seen in old village places (now naturaly reforested). Up to an altitude of 400m.
Use: The fruit can be eaten as a vegetable.
First ID: Phyllanthus sp. ?

What do you think about Greynia androgynus ? (older genus : Sauropus) Could this species present pink fruit more than white one's ?
