Again, those familiar with this species may validate.

My thoughts are based on keys provided in Revision of the Genus Barleria (Acanthaceae) in India

Flowers 5 - 7 cm long; corolla blue with white tube	... ... ... ... ... ... ...	var. involucrata
Flowers 9 - 12 cm long; corolla pinkish with reddish purple tube	... ... ... ... ... ... ...	var. elata
