Paradesi is on the right path i think

looks different in this herbarium from janaki herbarium on the net

and Cythula :  looks very different, similar to your pictures

What you sent reference is correct,
But your post is Cyathula only,
You can go throw this 

Habit up 1.5 m high., erect, Inflorescence dense spike and has spiny bristles........Pupalia

Habit up to75 cm long decumbent, some times prostrate,
Inflorescence loose spike, haven't spiny bristles.........Cythula

Thank you very very much Paradesi ji for pointing to the error. Indeed it is Cyathula prostrata - I always mistake this one for Pupalia. And despite it, I did not bother to match plants in my collection. Sheer haste and over-confidence !!!
