Submitting a request for identification of a grass from Chalakkara, Mahe. The photograph was taken in November 2019.

This is not enough information to Grass ID Sir JI, you can post habit and leaves close, 

Seems to Digitaria or Panicum sp.,

This is Arundinella leptochloa - very common in Malabar. Also found in purple form.
