Pl find attached phot of id confirmation insectivores plant trapped
grass hopper is it drosera burmani or venus fly trap pl confirm.

Location- Place, Altitude - Kaiga , Uttar Kannada ,Karnataka, 380 mtrs

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- wild

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- herb

Height/Length-6-7cm

Not Venus fly trap (Dionaea musipula), which does not have gland-tipped hairs on surface. It has usually two valved leaf which snap close to trap insect.

This should be Drosera only

Dear All
tnx for the compliments.Wetlands on the river bank of kali near kaiga
have numerous insectivorous plants (specially from Aug-Nov). I have
collection of these plants.
