ID of spinyleaf palm like plant!

I request for identification of these spiny small trees growing wildly.  I remember using this leaves as a protective measure to prevent cattles from grazing the newly planted saplings.

Yes it is Phoenix sylvestris of Arecaceae family.

Phoenix sylvestris....in punjab area children eat the fruits calling
it Jangali Khazoor (wild date)....
