As per GRIN also it is syn. of Toxicodendron succedaneum (L.) Kuntze as well as per Flora of China.

Checklist of Nepal gives distribution as 1300-2400 m; Himalaya (Kashmir to Bhutan), Assam, Tibet, Burma, Thailand, east to China;
