Hi there,

It’s summer, which means slow afternoons, long evenings, and a little more time to reconnect with the world around us. What better way to do that than by exploring the plants growing right in your neighbourhood?

We’re excited to introduce Map the Wild – India's first board game on wild edible and medicinal greens. Designed as a light-strategy game for two players or teams, it invites you into a climate-altered world where survival depends on recognising and using the plants around you.

But it’s more than just a game.
With beautifully illustrated card sets, Map the Wild also doubles up as a field companionsomething you can carry along on your evening walks as you begin to notice, identify, and connect with the wild foods around you.

Created as part of Forgotten Greens’ ongoing work to revive the fast-disappearing traditions of foraging and working with uncultivated greens, this game is an invitation to learn, reflect, and engagewith curiosity and play. Whether you’re playing with friends, family, or simply exploring it on your own, Map the Wild opens up conversations about biodiversity, urban ecology, and traditional knowledge in a changing world.

Your support helps us take this work to more people and spaces. And if you know someone who would enjoy learning about plants the fun way, do share it with them.

Warmly,
