Requesting for id of  attached photos, is it Halenia spp. ?



Date/Time- 06.11.2010/ 11.00AM

Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- TALAKAVERI, KODAGU, KARNATAKA, 4350 FT

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- WESTERN GHAT, HIGH ELEVATION GRASSLAND

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- SMALL HERB,

Height/Length- hardly 10 cm in height

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size-

Inflorescence Type/ Size-

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

Surely not Swertia.. There are stipules present,
Probably some Rubiaceae, plant looks like  Diodella teres (Walter) Small, Fl. Lancaster Co.: 271 (1913).
