Trifolium pratense L. from Kashmir, Very commonly found in meadows, shaded slopes and lawns, photographed from Harwan on June 17, 2010.

Common names
English: Purple clover, Red clover, Broad-leaved clover, Mammoth red clover, Peavine clover
French: Trèfle rouge
German: Rotklee
Spanish: Trébol común, Trébol rojo
Hindi: Trepatra, Chit-batto

Commonly used as fodder; flowers used medicinally, herb used for sore eyes.
