... the inflorescence reminds of the fiddlewood tree, Citharexylum spinosum, the leaves in the other photo however looks different.

I agree with Dinesh ji & Satish ji.
 
Only one taxon i.e. Citharexylum fruticosum forma subserratum (= C.subserratum, C. spinosum) in India.
