Dear all,
This tree is found in the moist deciduous forest patch in Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. Kindly help in solving this id.

Is this a species of Gardenia?

Plant Habit-

Up to 5 metre

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- 

Leaves oblanceolate

Inflorescence Type/ Size- 

solitary; ca.5cm across

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- 

white

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- 

fruit sizes 7 x 5cm; 

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.- 

 fragrance on flowers
