These plants were growing in a farm at Uruli Kanchan, Pune.  The flower is lavender colored.  When I asked the farmer, he said they call it Vilayati Gawat in Marathi and it is used to feed the cows of the Ashram.  Photo taken on 15.5.2010.

Kindly identify the plant.
