Herewith enclosing the photographs of Pterocarpus species. A big tree. Unable to get the close up of the flowers despite maximum zoom. Photos taken on 9.10.11 in one of the parks in Mysore city .

Pterocarpus marsupium. Called as 'Vaengai' வேங்கை in Tamil. I think its Kannada name is 'Honne mara'
