POWO does not mention it separately.
Yes, appears close as per images at Caltha palustris
Looks different from FoC illustration of Caltha scaposa Hook. f. & Thomson as per the Checklist of Nepal and Caltha govaniana Wall. ex Royle is reported at much high elevation.

POWO gives distribution of Caltha palustris var. himalaica Tamura, from Nepal eastward.
Do we have keys to differentiate between this one and Caltha palustris var. palustris ?
