Dear Friend,
                   Trema  orientalis is a common tree at Cooch Behar.The tree is commonly known as Indian Nettle Tree.In Bangla it is known as Chikan/Jiban.It is known as Gio in Hindi.The fruits are very small and these are relished by number of birds.Attaching an image of Bluethroated Barbet eating the fruits of Trema.
