After searching for a few days, I finally found a few specimens of this orchid growing on a rock face. I hope these photos will help establish it to be Herminium monophyllum as Pankaj ji earlier suggested.

Herminium monophyllum
Near Gallu Temple, Dharamshala, HP
2000m approx.
24 July 2017

Thanks.

Thats very funny and misleading image you have. I was shocked thinking this is a new genus :)
In you pic 6570 the labellum what is seen on the image appears broad in the front and narrow near base, but actually the broad part is the base of the spur and the narrower part is the apex which is kind of pointed.
Thanks a lot for sharing these lovely pics of Herminium monophyllum. I had seen only once in Mussorie.
Thanks and regards
Pankaj

Thank you Pankaj ji. My apologies for causing the shock. I thought the next image (6592) clarified any confusion.

Best regards,
Ashwini

I didn’t think it was meant any other way. My apologies were genuine though :-)
