Digitaria didactyla - an introduced lawn grass often confused for Axonopus compressus
Sorry. I didnt see the first image. It is Axonopus compressus only, known as carpet grass naturally found in shady localities especially on forest paths and road sides. But it is also found growing on roadside lawns, usually dispersed by cattle through their dung. Not Digitaria didactyla which is a lawn grass of higher altitudes, though it looks same in vegetative stage.
