Ornamental plant from my garden in Ritterhude, fotos taken in june 2010

Jungfer im grünen (German)
Love-in-a-mist (engl.)  The plant's common name comes from the flower being nestled in a ring of multifid, lacy bracts. It's also sometimes called Devil-in-the-Bush.  Devil?
Nigella damascena Fam. Ranunculaceae (sci)

They are much used in dried flower bouquets.
