Please ID wild plant, kind regards, Sam.
Location: Ooty Botanical Garden The Nilgiris Tamil Nadu Kerala INDIA
Altitude: 7300fsl
Flower date: 01APR2025, 05.30pm
Habitat: conservated moisture sloppy misty highland 
Plant habit: medium erect branched shrub, hard woody cylindrical stem 06 inch base circumference, tomentose sprouts, perennial
Height: 02 meter
Leaves: alternate elliptic acute leathery tomentose, size upto: 09×3.5cm
Flower: axillary inflorescence terminally, pink, non fragrant, diameter:08mm
Fruit:

I am a bit confused between   Cestrum fasciculatum (Schltdl.) Miers. and Cestrum elegans (Brongn. ex Neumann) Schltdl. .
Distribution of Cestrum fasciculatum (Schltdl.) Miers. is distinctly mentioned for Tamilnadu whereas not for Cestrum elegans (Brongn. ex Neumann) Schltdl. .

Thank you very much for ID my plant.  It is very close to Cestrum elegans, and the same is reported from Tamil Nadu also in our efloraofindia.
