This year i plant two plants in my college. cuttings of this plant grows very easily

AN important ayurvedic herb ...
was of immense value to the army also .. to stench bleeding in ancient
times......

Called vridhha daru or samudra sosh ..

I love the soft downy feel of the leaves...

used to grow abundantly along southern coast in Bengal.. not seen so
commonly now a days though...

the seed pods are interesting looking too...
