Sir, are these two species same (Gaultheria fragmentissma) . Their leaves and fruit colour looks slightly different. 1 and 2nd picture are same plant. And 3rd and 4th are same.

Sparsely hispid setose twig and branches clearly seen= G. stapfiana

G. fragrantissima = always glamorous twig and branches, also branches and twig often winged

Fruit colour is not species delimiting character, a range of variations are observed in the natural populations


But Pl see the original material, if the twig and branches are glabrous or with hairs, also branches winged or terete (rounded), but colour may vary
