According to Hindu mythology, the God of Love, Lord KAMA used to own
Bow and Arrow. The head or crown of his arrows were made of Calotropis
flowers.

Botanically Romantic!!!

1.  The leaves of this plant are used to make garlands and offered to Lord Hanuman.
2.  This is the host plant of  caterpillars of Plain tiger and striped tiger butterflies
3.  Children enjoy running after the flying seeds.

We used to make FIRKI with Thorns of Acacia nilotica from its flowers after removing sepals and petals
