Morus macroura from Delhi

Sending Morus macroura Miq. (syn: Morus alba var. laevigata Bureau; M. laevigata Wall. ex Brandis), from Delhi. Please notice closely serrate leaves and 5-10 cm long drooping male catkins almost 2-3 times as long as M. alba.

Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- Ashok Vihar, Delhi, 213 m asl

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- Cultivated along roadsides

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- Deciduous tree

Height/Length- up to 6 m

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- simple, closely serrate

Inflorescence Type/ Size- catkin, male drooping 5-10 cm long

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-  greenish white, small, 4 perianth and stamens

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-
