Habitat: Hilly tracks, open stretches of sand.
Habit: Erect shrubs or undershrubs, with appressed white hairs throughout the plant.
Leaves: Sessile, linear-lenceolate.
Flowers: Pale-pink or white. Drying flowers appears to be orange. (Fl. Ind. Des., M. M. Bhandari, 1990).
Fruit: Compressed, nearly rounded towards both ends, appressed hairy.
