In fact, most of the estates in Coorg (Kodagu) boast beautiful flower gardens considering that Kodavas have a passion for rearing flowers. There were flowers all over the place – huge fat dahlias, red hibiscuses, roses, asters and many others, the likes of which we had never seen before. We walked through the coffee gardens, the plants lush and somewhat stooping under the weight of the raindrops.
