As per Flowers of India , it is called ADAVI KANDULU- అడవి కందులు

Cajanus albicans , Cajanus scarabaeoides and  Rhyncosia suaveolens are also called Adavikandulu

Adavi means forest; kandulu means red gram, as the seed looks like redgram they are called Adavikandulu
