Botanical name: Artocarpus chama Buch.-Ham. (Moraceae).
Photographer: Dr. M. C. Naik.
Location: South Andaman Island, India.
Habit: Trees, 6 - 15 m high.
Habitat: Common in inland forests.
Distribution: India (Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Northeast India), Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, China, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia.
Uses: The fruits and seeds are relished by the local tribal people.
