Hello friends,

This are fruits of Lannea coromandelica, commonly known as the Indian ash tree, moya, wodier.

Please help me know what could be the spherical gall-like growth among the fruits.

In fact, it did not strike me that the *fruits* in that photo are different than what I otherwise know (just as what we see in your very beautiful sighting).

Now, it is a suspense to me what that spherical and hollowish fruit is ... that growth is clearly intriguing ... UNLESS I have mistaken the ID.

I will not be surprised if is not Lannea :) ... but the suspense mounts ... what else would it be ?
