LITTLE CHILLIES – To make you cry more!   Locals believe the pungency of one such chilly can substitute that of which is found in 10 normal chillies – a perfect tears inducing agent! These chillies are also used in Pineapple and Mango desserts to impart an added flavour.   Guess, they belong are related to capsicum annuum, Family -SOLANACEAE,   Coffee estate, Murnaadu, Western ghats, Coorg, Karnataka 03 Sep 2009   Regards Raghu

This is not Capscicum annuum, it is Capscicum minimum Roxb. Its correct name is Capscicum annuum var glabriusculum (Dunal) Heiser & Pickers
