This Seege tree -Acacia concina  -  planted to serve as a fence for the  paddy husk store (a rectangular area in the open paddy fields)  has eventually grown into a big tree. A Banyan tree is also found adjacent to it and  along the fence.

And its flowering time for the Seege - with red and  white flowers amidst the thorny branches.

Hi, Raghu,
Lovely shot! Do you have other pictures of its bark, leaves, whole tree etc.? If so, pl. post them.
I could find a good link for Acacia concina & its uses: http://pharmaceuticals.indiabizclub.com/catalog/248900~acacia~new+delhi
