Altitude      :1050 ft

Habitat        :wild thorny scrub

Habit           :herb abt one foot

Height         :

Leaves         :as depicted

Flowers       :as seen 

Fruits           :,? thistle

This was identified by Goutamji as Vernonia cinerea

I think this represents Blumea sp., perhaps B. lacera. It will not be  Vernonia cinerea.
