Herb from Western Rajasthan for id

This plant has remained unidentified for years. It was growing in sandy desert scrub in September 2013. It looks like a Fabaceae and I am unable to be sure of the genus.

Many thanks, Saroj ji for a wonderful suggestion. It seems like the inflorescence is not terminal here, but not sure if that is ok. Do you have a good description of the plant?
