I am sending the first image as a high resolution that you said was P. gracilis - I had asked if it was P. porrecta. Is this the one that Saroj Ji said was P. graciis var stricta? I just want to be clear on the ID.

This is Pedicularis gracilis subsp. macrocarpa (Prain) Tsoong (syn: Pedicularis gracilis subsp. brunoniana (Wall. ex Pennell) T. Husain & Arti Garg) only as per Catalogue of Life & as per details at Pedicularis gracilis Wall. Ex Benth. (Scrophulariaceae) Complex in the Himalayas – A Taxonomic Reinvestigation- Tariq Husain Arti Garg- March 2003 Taiwania 48(1).

Looking at the Herbarium images received from the Naitonal Herbarium, Nepal,

I feel it is more close to P. gracillis var stricta !
