Paspalum distichum from Kashmir, usually growing in wet places and weed in rice fields, photographed from Hazuribagh Garden in Srinagar on June 16, 2010.

Common Names:
English: Couch paspalum, Eternity grass, Ginger grass, Joint grass, Knotgrass, Thompson grass, Water couch, Water finger-grass

Does this grass grow in Gangetic palins of Bengal??
seen simalr out in bengal
