"This plant is definetly not an Euphorbia. It belongs to the cactus family. 
It could be Cereus jamacaru, a species native of Brazil, or any resembling Cereus species .

"Nice photo, but not Euphorbia.  It is a cactus, Cereus sp.  I do not know the species name off hand, but for sure it is Cereus, look at those flower buds.

Only the following species of Cereus are listed in India Flora Online (Cereus hexagonusCereus peruvianusCereus pterogonus) as per details herein. 
Only 
Cereus pterogonus have distribution in the area.
So I take it as Cereus pterogonus
