Validation of ID

Kindly validate the identification of roadside weed.

Date/Time- 13 FEB 2022

Location-Place, Altitude, GPS- 16th Cross Rd, Sector 4, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102 GPS - 12°54'46.0"N 77°38'22.8"E

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- Roadside weed

Plant Habit-Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- Herb

Height/Length- 80 cm.

Flowers – 4 green sepals, 4 yellow petals, 4 tall stamens, dwarf stamen seen in (20220213 VST 1)

Leaves – Green, Basal leaves big, leaf size reducing as one goes up the stem.  

Fruit – Silique 3.5 cm containing ten seeds

My guess - Sisymbrium loeselii

The ID seems to be correct.

I think it is Rorippa dubia (Pers.) H.Hara as per images and details herein.

Looks different from Sisymbrium loeselii and also has no distribution as per POWO and Flora of Peninsular India.

Actually your plant is Rorippa indica (L.) Hiern 

I have earlier wrongly written the species name. Just realised now.
