Epiphytic Orchid for identification 280113MK02

Dear all,

Please help me to identify this epiphytic Orchid found in a moist forest patch in Kolli hills of TN. I would like to know the Genus.

Leaf size does not exceed 8 cm. Sorry, I have not seen any flowers or fruits.

I think its Eria pseudoclavicaulis Blatt., J. Bombay Nat. Hist. Soc.
32: 519 (1928).

can someone please tell me what are the parts of an orchid , that these bulbs like enlargement at the base of the leaves are?  what do they store? wat is their purpose in the scheme of things for the life history of this orchid

This can be either Eria pauciflora or Eria pseudoclavicaulis. Cant confirm without flowers.
Usha mam, swollen things can be many things by definition.
It can be stem or root or leaf or part of leaf.. In this case the swollen part is stem. They store reserve food material for the plant as Orchids are generally xerophytic in nature.
