Etymology no.10- Caryota urens- Aracaceae.

Caryota- 'Caryotos'- nut-like and refers to the hard - seeded fruit.

urens- stinging property.

Only sometime back it has been discussed. The tree is more famous for its sap juice which is know as sulfi in Bastar. Ask Pankaj (Oudhia) about it.
