Dear members,

Observation: 10/02/23. Riung District, Flores, Indonesia.

Description: It is a small tree that can reach a height of 3m (from my observations). Presence of white latex. Whorled phyllotaxis. Orange berry like fruit. From non-direct information, he would have small white flower.

But in Apocynaceae familly there is no berry like fruit species right ? Except this character, all those informations lead me to an Apocynaceae.

Habitus: Very common in all dry tropical forest with sea influenced climate. Up to an altitude of 400m.

Use: The plant would be used to facilitate the childbirth (and abort)

First ID: Ochrosia sp. ?

Kind regards,

The inside of the fruit appear like
https://efloraofindia.com/2011/02/13/carica-papaya/
So it can be from a Caricaceae related family:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brassicales
I could not go any further.
