Malva microcarpa Pers. (syn: M. parviflora var. microcarpa (Pers.) Loscos from Delhi

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type-

Wild, in lawns, waste places 

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb-  

Spreading herb, decumbent

Height/Length

spread upto 25 cm, height up to 15 cm

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size-

Simple, palmately lobed, on long petiole, mucilagnous

Inflorescence Type/ Size-

axilary, solitary or up to 3 in cluster

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-

5-7 mm, white, epicalyx linear,

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-

Longish cylindrical pod as in picture10 cm

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

Schizocarpic, mericarps 8-10, reticulate

Thanks Sir for adding a rare spreading herd from Malvaceae. at first glance anyone can mix  it up with Cucurbitaceae.
