Please ID wild tree, kind regards, Sam.

Location: Ooty Botanical Garden The Nilgiris Tamil Nadu INDIA

Altitude: 7300fsl

Flower date: 01APR2025, 06.20pm

Habitat: conservated moisture sloppy misty highland

Plant habit: medium erect branched tree, hard woody cylindrical trunk 40 inch base circumference, rough brownish bark

Height: 02.5 meter

Leaves: alternate elliptic acute simple serrated margins, size upto: 05×3.5cm

Flower: axillary spike inflorescence, white, fragrant, diameter:22mm

Fruit: drupe green winged quadrangular ovoid glabrous size: 20x12mm
