I am also not sure. The bark of F. palmata ssp. virgata is supposed to be whitish or greyish and plants are usually shrubs or small trees. 

On the left of the first photo we can see leaves of Ficus religiosa. It seems that this tree is worshipped.  Perhaps the slender leafy branches belong to another plant.
