Rhododendron arboreum subsp. zeylanicum (Booth) Tagg

Syn: R. zeylanicum Booth

Locally known as Maha Rath Mala, the tree is endemic to highlands of Sri Lanka. It is official Flower of Central Province. Details can be found here:
