This tree is blooming in Chennai now but has never put out the  long twisted seed pods seen so abundantly in Bangalore.( I have been watching it for the past three years.)
 
What could be the explanation for that?

I know one tree which has twisted long seed pods. It was known as Heterophragma adenophyllum.
