Nice photographs of Haemanthus multiflorus, the blood lily, now correctly known as Scadoxus multiflorus. also known as blood flower, ox-tongue-lily, powderpuff lily.

In Malayalam it is known as April flower, because it usually like to come out on April

In Maharashtra it is often called as May flower as it blooms in May!
