Please id this Geranium

Dear Sir,

It looks like a Geranium rectum (Erect Geranium), but it has seven petals. Is the id correct? If the id is correct, then please let me know the reason for seven petals of flower. I found this flower at Rajparain Wildlife Sanctuary, J&K where I got the Geranium rectum (Erect Geranium) with five petals on August 2021.
